Tlicho Christian Fellowship is a Protestant church serving the Native community in Behchoko, Northwest Territories, Canada. Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in both word and action, sharing God’s love through worship, teaching, and service to our community.
The church is led by Missionary Pastor David Shed, together with ministry leaders and volunteers who faithfully serve the church and community.
Through worship services, Bible teaching, youth programs, and community outreach, we seek to help people grow in their faith and experience the transforming love of Jesus Christ.
Community outreach is an important part of our mission. Ministries such as local clothing distribution, led by Nancy Shed, help meet practical needs while sharing Christ’s love with those around us.

Your generosity helps Tlicho Christian Fellowship continue serving the community, reaching people in need, and sharing the hope of Jesus Christ.

We are passionate about helping people grow spiritually, build strong relationships, and serve the community around us.
Led by Missionary Pastor David Shed, our church offers worship services, Bible teaching, youth programs, and outreach ministries that support and encourage people of all ages.

I was born into a non-Christian family. I accepted Jesus as my savior at the age of 16, while attending Shinil Church in Yaksu-dong, South Korea. I joined the Emanuel Mission Organization and traveled to churchless areas in Korea to hold evangelist meetings through short termed team missions during the summer and winter.
I then decided myself to do missionary work, serving in children’s ministry on the island of Las Palmas in Spain for three years. Afterward, I joined the international OM mission organization and traveled throughout the UK with team members, conducting church and children summer Bible camps. After 1996 I came to Canada and worked as an educational evangelist and pastor care at the Surrey Presbyterian Church in Vancouver, while also participating in short-term mission to the indigenous first nation people of Lovecorps.
After completing my theology studies and becoming an ordained Canada Presbyterian pastor, I visited the Northwest Territory 13 years ago. Two years later in 2015 I began working at the Tlicho Christian Fellowship Church.
